Natural access to Aigüestortes National Park from Arties
Olperer operates a minibus shuttle service between Arties → Pont de Rius (passing through Pont de Ressec), providing direct access to one of the natural gateways of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.
The service operates during the motorised access restriction period to the Valartíes Valley, usually July, August and part of September, promoting safe and respectful mobility.

In addition to the regular shuttle service, we provide discretionary services to Pont de Rius and Pruedo subject to availability.
Connection with the National Park Bus
From Arties, the shuttle connects with the Park Bus, which links the main park accesses at:
- Boí
- Espot
- Vall d'Aran
Ideal for traverses, linear routes and valley connections without a private vehicle.
Routes from Pont de Rius
Restanca Refuge
2,010 mClimb via cobbled zigzag path to the staffed Restanca refuge, base for multiple routes and traverses.
Montardo Peak
2,833 mClassic ascent via Restanca, Cap de Port and Oelhacrestada.
Great Lakes Route
Restanca → Mar Lake → Tort de Rius → GR-11 → Rius glacial valley. High mountain route with extensive landscapes and varied terrain.
Besiberri Nord
3,009 mHigh mountain ascent recommended for experienced mountaineers.
Connection with other National Park refuges
The Restanca Refuge is a strategic point within the network of staffed refuges of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, as it easily links with various traverses and high mountain routes.
Ventosa i Calvell Refuge
From Restanca, a path ascends to the Oelhacrestada col and descends towards Monges Lake, reaching the Ventosa i Calvell Refuge, one of the most emblematic in the park. This section is part of the classic Carros de Foc route.
Colomèrs Refuge
From the upper part of Restanca, routes towards the passes connecting with the Aiguamòg valley provide access to the Colomèrs Refuge and the most extensive lake cirque in the park. Includes connections to Còth deth Pòrt de Caldes and the GR-11.
Conangles Refuge
Restanca also connects with the Conangles Refuge, located at the northern edge of the park, near the south entrance of the Vielha Tunnel. Via the GR-11 and Port de Rius linking Valartíes with the Noguera Ribagorçana valley, hikers can join both refuges.
